They took the ventilator away as they did not feel Brooklyn needed it anymore! Brooklyn looked BEAUTIFUL today without it in her mouth. It was so great to see her pretty face. More importantly, she is doing well without it. Her heart rate does drop sometimes, but that is normal. We still want her to grow out of those, but she is doing well right now with the nasal cannula. The occupational therapist came by and gave her a "massage" and she really liked it. (: They are going to look at starting her feedings again VERY slowly tomorrow, but might not start until the day after. They removed one of her antibiotics, but still have several others going for 7 more days. She is maintaining her platelets a bit better, but still needs to increase them. We would also like for her stomach to come down some more, but overall she is looking better and getting there one day at a time. We are so very thankful to God for these steps to healing she is taking, but we are continuing to take one day at a time. Hopefully, she will keep taking steps forward. Please keep praying for her to be fully healed and to get stronger. We are SO proud of her and how strong she is being!!! Here are some pics of B...
