Yes, our three beautiful babies were born on April 1st, and contrary to what some thought, it was not an April Fools Joke- they actually were born on April Fools Day. (: Bates, Brooklyn and Grace entered this world at 7:34pm, 7:35pm, and 7:36pm... we have never experienced anything more amazing, and here is our blog to tell about it.

The best alternative is still for the incision not to open anymore. The surgeon saw Brooklyn this morning and said that he thinks it looks better than yesterday, that the two sutures there seem sturdy and that they will continue watching it closely. We are thankful for that, but also understand how things tend to change constantly. So, we are praying that the sutures still in tact do hold the incision together, that the steri strips also hold it together so that the incision and skin, rather than opening, will heal closed. We are thankful that her crp level is down, pray that her platelets level can be maintained and increase and are thankful it has gotten a little better, and we continue to pray that her swelling goes down as it really needs to and that the infection would be gone so she can begin to reach a full recovery.
