I bottle fed Bates today and he did pretty well. He's now 4 pounds 12 ounces!
Yes, our three beautiful babies were born on April 1st, and contrary to what some thought, it was not an April Fools Joke- they actually were born on April Fools Day. (: Bates, Brooklyn and Grace entered this world at 7:34pm, 7:35pm, and 7:36pm... we have never experienced anything more amazing, and here is our blog to tell about it.

There are not many changes with Brooklyn... we still need her platelets number to increase. They found a collected fluid in 4 places in her stomach so they will be watching it closely to make sure there is not an infection there. The amount of the incision that is open has remained the same and small, and her belly still needs to get smaller. Her CRP number has gone down, so that is good. It's now a week post-op, so we pray she begins showing more and more signs of improving. She was wide awake today and pulling at all the tubes. It continues to be tough to see her with all the tubes and uncomfortable, but I'm glad that she won't be able to remember what she is going through now when she is older, and I try to remember it's what is helping her heal. Thank you for your continued prayers for sweet Brooklyn as they are so needed right now. Her big, pretty eyes are just so beautiful!
