Thank you to everyone who checks this blog and cares so much about our family and prays for us. We are forever grateful. Your cards, gifts, prayers all mean so much. I am also so touched by knowing some people we don't even know who have written us cards, or read this blog and pray for us- we are so grateful.

Bates is still the same right now- he has not really changed one way or the other. I really pray that he improve greatly over the next few days so he does not need a second surgery like Brooklyn did as that can be so tough on them since they are so little. We pray that he is able to breathe better and get his ventilator removed, that his infection is gone quickly, and that his incision heals well. It was so hard to see his sweet face grimacing a few times today just knowing he wasn't feeling well.  It was so sweet to be able to soothe him to sleep by putting my hand on his head and putting my finger in his hand which he grasped so tightly,  looking at me with his big beautiful eyes. I treasure time with Bates and pray so much that he would heal very soon.

They decide to start Brooklyn's feeding again today with milk, but very slowly. Last time she got sick, and I am praying that this time she is able to digest it very well. I put a picture of Brooklyn below where she had these black "glasses" on to cover her eyes after she had an eye exam. Who knew she could look so cool at 2 months old. (:

Gracie is doing well and should be coming home in a week. She has the funniest grunts and makes the sweetest noises. Everyone thinks Brooklyn looks like Christian, that Grace looks like me, and that Bates is a mix- we shall see!

Thank you for continuing to pray that Bates does really well and heals quickly!
