Yes, our three beautiful babies were born on April 1st, and contrary to what some thought, it was not an April Fools Joke- they actually were born on April Fools Day. (: Bates, Brooklyn and Grace entered this world at 7:34pm, 7:35pm, and 7:36pm... we have never experienced anything more amazing, and here is our blog to tell about it.

Well, we had a scare today. Brooklyn had blood in her stool so we had to take her to the ER- ughhh... They took xrays and an ultrasound of her, did some blood tests and gave her an IV. THANK God her ultrasound, bloodwork and x-ray looked normal. She did not have to be admitted and we were able to come back home. They said that if she has a lot more blood in her stool, she would need to go back to the hospital, but that it will hopefully go away completely in the next few days- that is our prayer! They are unsure of what it is, but think it might be a tear that should heal on its own. Praying that's what it was and that it gets better! Thank you so much for your prayers!

Hi, everyone. Day 6 of having all 3 home- wew, am I tired! (; It's been great having all three home though- we love it! Hopefully, we will get into more of a routine and schedule soon enough.
We are still waiting to get the results of Bates and Brooklyn's blood test that shows if they have a certain liver disease or not- praying that they don't have it! We will find out in a few weeks and will let you know. The GI doctor and Surgeon said they look great at their follow up appointments.
Bates now weighs 10 lbs. 10 oz., Brooklyn weighs 9 lbs. 5 oz., and Gracie weighs 10 pounds! Grace sleeps like a rock and we even have to wake her up after sleeping 8 to 9 hours! She takes after my side of the family. (: Bates did pretty well last night too and slept 7 hours, while the night before he slept 4- we'll see what tonight brings. And, Brooklyn, well sweet Brooklyn, she loves to keep us on our toes with sleeping great during the day and keeping us up at night with her many grunts and fusses- hopefully, she will grow out of that soon. (: Truly, they are three peas in a pod...

I had to share some of the scriptures that have gotten me through each day of this journey. I would literally read each one of these every single day and pray them for our babies. I know I have said over and over how thankful I am to God, but I just can't thank Him enough for the miracles He has done in our babies. There were so many moments of fear, joy, nervousness, anxiety, etc. I have never been on more of a roller coaster in my life. A lot of people ask me how we are going to do the details, and honestly, I am just so grateful for their lives and that they are now thriving that I just know we will figure it out. In one of the comments below, one of the nurses said, "They say the harder the journey...the sweeter the reward!" I have to say we are enjoying our sweet reward of having our family all together!
Jeremiah 32:17
“Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.
Jeremiah 32:27
“I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
Psalm 91:14 “Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”
Psalm 141:8
But my eyes are fixed on you, Sovereign LORD;"
1 Praise the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
2 I will praise the LORD all my life;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
3 Do not put your trust in princes,
in mortal men, who cannot save. 4 When their spirit departs, they return to the ground;
on that very day their plans come to nothing.
5 Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,
whose hope is in the LORD his God, 6 the Maker of heaven and earth,
the sea, and everything in them—
the LORD, who remains faithful forever.

WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our three peas in a pod are all finally at home together! We were able to bring Bates home tonight and could not be happier and more thankful to the Lord for the amazing miracles He has done in their lives. This has been such a journey, and we are so excited to finally begin the adventure and excitement of having all three home- let the chaos begin! (:
Dr. Lazarte (above) and Dr. Littman were Bates and Brooklyn's primary doctors and have had a huge impact on them doing as wonderful as they are now- we will be forever grateful to them!
It's finally Bates' big day to come home!!!
One of Bates' favorite nurses, Lauren, who came in on her off day to see Bates before he came home.
