It was a long afternoon today: We went on a nice walk, and then when we came back, I fed Grace, and everything I fed her came right back at me- first time that's happened. Brooklyn was fussing, and then Bates of course had a blow out diaper (love those). (:  Made for an eventful and chaotic night, and all I have to say is thank God for the Praise Baby DVD's. All was calm right once we hit the play button. (: 

Bates is recuperating well and has been so happy this week. Hopefully, the redness in his eyes will subside soon- the dr. said that the redness was normal, and was pleased with how the surgery went and how good he looks. So, praying he will continue to heal well. They are growing and changing minute by minute and we can't believe that they will be 1 year old one week from today on April 1st! They are such a blessing!

We are so thankful that Bates' surgery went well! Thank y'all so much for your prayers. Here is a picture in his hospital gown just before surgery.

Here is a picture of him after surgery. Sweet bud- even smiled at the nurse on the way out. They said his eyes would be very red for the next few days to a week. And, hopefully, the surgery worked. We will find out in the next few weeks. Just so thankful that it went well and that he is recovering well!

We had such a great time having Mr. & Mrs. G in town- thank you so much for making the time to come hang out- it was special for us and the babies!

Bates is hilarious when he eats- as soon as the food hits his tongue, he has opened his mouth ready for the next bite.

It's so much fun to see the babies react when Christian gets home form work. They get so excited. Brooklyn's already crawled to Christian's feet ready to be picked up next.
