Not an April Fools Joke

Hi all! Brooklyn has been doing great each day, and we continue to pray she gets better and better! Her feedings are still going slow, but well. The lipids she was on to supplement for the feedings can cause liver issues, so they told us about a new lipid they can give her which is basically fish oil that she is now a candidate for. She will begin that tonight and we are hoping that this helps improve her liver and return it to normal- what it is known for doing. Once she is on full feeds, she obviously will no longer need the fish oil, so we pray she will be able to reach full feeds on schedule, or sooner would be even better, and that her digestive system does great with it. She has been doing really well this past few days- her breathing is wonderful, and there is almost no sign of any infection left- Praise God! As things can change in a minute, we continue to pray that she will stay strong, infection free, and continue healing and growing! It has been so much fun holding her- she is SO sweet and adorable!

Bates is 6 pounds!!! His eyes were a little puffy/swollen the last few days, so they are doing a culture on him, but prayerfully it will be nothing. He's as cute and laid back as ever. Hopefully, some of his "laid backness" will rub off on his sisters. (; He might get his pic line out this week!

Grace is 5 pounds 8 ounces!!! She has d-sat a few times, so they gave her a blood transfusion and believe that will solve that. She is quite the drama queen and has the funniest and cutest poses!
