Brooklyn's "reconnection" surgery will be Friday as of now, so please be praying for the surgeon, doctors and that Brooklyn would do amazing in it and that she would recover quickly. Her numbers are all looking good except for her liver number right now. Please pray that this level decreases and that her liver improves dramatically. She has been staring so much more and interacting a lot more too- she is so adorable!!!
Bates gets his "reconnection" surgery the week of the 11th. All his numbers are looking pretty good, but we are also praying that his hermatocrit (blood) level and liver level improves. He is still having a little too much output of milk, and needs to absorb more, but is looking great overall. All the nurses have told us he is quite the charmer- uh oh, girls, look out! (:

What a blessing to read your post today and see the videos of Brooklyn and Bates. I will certainly focus on the special prayer needs for them. All three are so precious. I know GG (which is my grandchildren's name for me, too) will be so much help and comfort as she visits.
