Not an April Fools Joke

We are thankful Bates' surgery went well. The surgeon didn't end up looking at his gall bladder at all bc they want to wait for the liver biopsy to come back to see if he does need something done to gall bladder or of it just needs time to heal. Dr. Askew didn't want to explore around there and create scar tissue if it ends up healing on its own. He will habe another hyda scan next week to see if the dye flows through the gall bladder to see if it healed over time. For now, we are very thankful the surgery went well, and pray that he does not need to have a second surgery for the gall bladder but rather that it corrects itself over the next week and for a quick and complete recovery!
