Yes, our three beautiful babies were born on April 1st, and contrary to what some thought, it was not an April Fools Joke- they actually were born on April Fools Day. (: Bates, Brooklyn and Grace entered this world at 7:34pm, 7:35pm, and 7:36pm... we have never experienced anything more amazing, and here is our blog to tell about it.

Brooklyn's surgery will be this Friday- thank y'all SO much for praying that it goes well, for wisdom and accuracy for Dr. Askew, the surgeon, and that the intestinal area they reconnect will heal very quickly and that they can restart full feeds soon! Bates' surgery will be sometime next week. I will let you know once we have a date. Please pray for the same things for Bates. Also, please pray for both of them, that their liver will completely heal over the next few weeks (their numbers need to come down). Being on full feeds will help that. Brooklyn also had an eye exam Tuesday, and her eyes are still stage 1 ROP- which means the retina has not totally matured yet- please pray that they mature as well- being on full feeds will also help this. We are so ready and excited for Bates and Brooklyn to do well in the surgery, totally heal from it and be on full feeds soon so that they can come home with us and we can all be together!
