Not an April Fools Joke

They were able to start Bates' feeds today- Praise the Lord! We were excited about that. A big step will be if he is able to digest them well, so that is our big prayer! He looked great today. His tummy has gotten a bit smaller which is really good and hopefully, some of his puffiness from after the surgery will go down soon. He is also in an open crib- looks so cute in it! (:  A pic of Bates in his crib is below that one of his awesome nurses, Bethany, texted me today after I left.

Brooklyn was so cute today in a shirt from her beautiful wardrobe created by Erin, one of her wonderful nurses, who has an appearance in the video below. She not only custom designed one outfit with hospital tape and markers, but about 5 for Brooklyn- so sweet! Brooklyn can't quite wear clothes we bring in yet, so she has to wear the shirts the hospitals have, so Erin jazzed them up. (:  Brooklyn weighs 5lbs. 11oz. now!

The doctors are going to see if Gracie can come home Monday- as long as she doesn't dsat at all, she will be able to come home then! (:  She now weighs 6 lbs. 4oz.!
