Tomorrow, Bates will be getting an Upper GI test to make sure there are no strictures or "blockages" in his intestines, which would be a surgical need if there are some, so please pray that there are not any, and that they can begin feeds tomorrow!

Bates is doing well today. He does need a blood transfusion bc his hermatocrit is low, but that it pretty common to do. His crp was 0.3, and is now 0.6 which is still very low. They look for it to be 0.8 to lower. Praying his blood work will continue to look good and that he will be able to start feeds tomorrow. He is smiling so much now- it is precious.

The girls are doing well and are enjoying one another!

Brooklyn in her swaddle blanket

Grace in her swaddle blanket

Tummy time

Our first outing using the double stroller- it took us 20 minutes just to get them set!

We had a great 5 minute walk! We'll work up to longer walks slowly. (:

Brooklyn was in need of a kitchen sink wash down after having a blow out diaper!

Grace in Mrs. Lynn's dress

The girls watching a Praise Baby video- they were in awe of it. (:

  1. Oh wow, Grace can still fit into her little smocked daygown. That is amazing !! I bet Bates won't be able to get his big toe into his. LOL !! I will be praying for good test results for him and that he can start back on the formula tomorrow. I know it was fun to stroll outside for a bit. I am so happy for all of the progress that has been made so far and pray for completion of getting all of the family together in a blessed and happy home. Love and blessings,"Mrs. Lynn"
