Wow- it has been sooo long since I last posted. I am finally able to sit down and share how wonderful our past month has been. Our summer vacation road trip began on June 14th with B, B & G: Atlanta to Birmingham to Destin to Lake Hartwell. Christian flew back for work during the week for the first few weeks and then was able to spend the rest of the time with us. We left at 7pm on June 14th, drove through the night and got in to Atlanta at 4am. We decided that was a much smarter idea than going during the day and turning a 9 hour drive into a 15 hour drive with lots of loud screaming along the way, many diaper changes, and messy meals. The babies did great! I was very proud of their flexibility, and Christian's incredible packing skills in getting all of our stuff into the car. I don't know how he did it. I have to let you know ahead of time that there are SO many pictures from the last 5 weeks, so just wanted to prepare you. (:
Atlanta
Happy Father's Day Daddy!
This is the rocker my mom had when she was a baby. This will always be a very special photo to me.

Hanging out with family.
It was such a blessing to be able to have my grandma meet her great grandbaby triplets. Having twins herself (my mom is a twin), it was an exciting thing to experience. She is 90 years old, sweet as can be, and loved every minute she was able to spend with B, B & G. 4 generations together- priceless.
Brooklyn having fun with Grandma tickling her toes (she can now point to her toes when you ask her to- very cute).
Birmingham
What cute butts! (:
Family time.
Christian's sweet, sweet grandma with Bates
These are 21 year old triplets who go to Auburn (Christian's mom is friends with their mother).

Awe, precious. Sleepy.
Fun times.
I have no idea how they sat still enough for me to take this picture.
Yep, we visited the zoo!
Destin
I love this picture, and the beautiful water behind them. Every day we went to the beach, the babies would sit on the blanket for a few minutes and then our little explorers would dive into the sand, and crawl to the ocean- they loved it.

They absolutely LOVED the ocean. We had so much fun taking them in it to swim.
My little brother and his wife, their daughter, Isabel, and my parents (GG & Papa T).
Gotta love these expressions Brooklyn does. Papa T & GG with their grandbabies.
B, B & G loved the sand, the ocean and every single thing about the beach (including eating shells- we had to watch them every second)!
Sweet times
Love this sweet pic of Christian and his daughters.
Don't know how my brother managed to get this pic. (: So sweet!
Christian's Uncle's mother enjoyed every second of getting to spend with the babies and they loved it too.
B, B & G had a blast in the baby pool.
Happy July 4th!!!!!!!!
Of course Christian had to sneak Brooklyn out at 9pm to see the fireworks (he picked her b/c she is the only ne that would most likely fall asleep after waking her up in the middle of the night)

It was so special to be able to visit the Back Porch. Borth Christian and I used to go growing up and had not been in so long. Brought back such wonderful memories.

All the kids put on a "rock concert" for us. Hilarious.

Brooklyn playing dress up.
All ready to drive back to VA.
This trip was so exciting and so much fun for the babies. There was so much activity and the babies loved being around so many other kids. There were so many special times, wonderful highlights, and many laughs. It's not very often that we get to spend so much time with family. It was so nice. I am now readjusting to not having our families close by, but looking forward to their next visits! It was a trip I will always remember.
I didn't realize how much our babies have grown until we arrived home. They were thrilled to be back in our home and enjoy all their toys. They already seem so much more mature than when we left. Bates is walking, Brooklyn & Gracie are close to it, they are all talking more, interacting more, and it's so much fun to see! Thank you Papa T, GG, Mimi and Christian for making this vacation happen- it was beyond my expectations.

Hello Sweet Family, I have checked this blog all along but after talking with my dear friend in Americus (Mrs. G's sister), I found out that nothing was wrong and y'all were taking a nice long family vacation. The pics are simply wonderful and I know it will be a time to be remembered as long as you live. Thanks for taking the time to share. I continue to remember you in my morning prayers. Blessings, Mrs. Lynn
