Not an April Fools Joke

Bates, Brooklyn and Grace are doing great! They are all doing different things and it's exciting to see how each is growing and changing. While Brooklyn has a lot of energy, she has become a little more cautious with new things like the pool, swing, new people, etc. But, once she warms up to it, she is all in. Brooklyn loves the thrill of being thrown around by Christian and is a full on daddy's girl. She loves to clap and wave, and her smile always melts our hearts.

Gracie enjoys trying new things and is far less cautious than I thought she would be, except with food. With food, she looks at it, then touches it with her hand, then smells her fingers, then picks it up and looks at it for a while, and then will consider trying it, or just decide she's not interested. It's pretty funny. She'll climb from one bouncy seat to another or find her way inside the empty space in the end table. When we hold her hands and she's taking steps, she takes quick little ones, and sometimes hops with both feet. She's our precious little peanut, and still loves to be held and snuggled.

Bates is laid back, relaxed and enjoys every moment- most of the time at least (: He loves new experiences and adventures. While he is the first one to have taken a few steps, he is very cautious when you are holding him and when he is walking along furniture. He takes his time and likes things to be more easy going. His smile lights up our day and yes, he is a mama's boy.

They are doing much better with eating different foods, as well as their constant toss of sippy cups on the floor. Love that- ha! (:

They are such joys to us and have hearts of gold. We are so very thankful for Bates, Brooklyn & Grace!
